Sacramento, Calif.: A man was arrested, charged with cultivating narcotic habits in young boys to boost the demand for his marihuana cigarettes. A field of growing marihuana was found on the Southern Pacific Railroad property near Galt. SACRAMENTO--City, county and state narcotic officers struck two stinging blows at Sacramento’s marijuana traffic.
Charged with cultivating a narcotic habit in young boys to boost the demand for his marijuana cigarets, Reyes Ramirez, 30, was seized by Sergeant E.J. Cox and Detective Arthur Thomas.
Meanwhile, sheriff’s deputies uncovered a field of marijuana growing on Southern Pacific property near Galt. The plants valued at several hundred dollars, were cleverly camouflaged by corn stalks.
