OKLAHOMA CONGRESS OF TEACHERS AND PARENTS
The Sapulpa, P.T.A
While NOT actually a physical part of Harry Anslinger's Gore File, the importance of incidents (such as this simple letter from a local PTA official), in fueling the call to outlaw Medical Marihuana cannot be understated.

SUPPLY OF MARIHUANA FOUND NEAR SLICK
World’s Own Service
SAPULPA, Dec. 13---Efforts to link a supply of marihuana found near Slick with sale of the drug here have so far proven fruitless, according to Creek county and Sapulpa authorities who have been conducting an active drive against the sale and use of the weed.
A quantity of the matured product, still on the standing stalks, and a dried quantity in an abandoned cabin were found recently near Slick. Another “garden” was found in Sapulpa but officers have been unable to connect any individual with its cultivation.
Strong suspicion that several high school students have used the narcotic weed has been expressed by Police Chief J.O. Edwards. Evidence that this has been true in the past has been found, the police chief states, and there is some reason to believe that several students continue to smoke marihuana.
